The 14. Armee was established on 1 August 1939. It was involved in the invasion of Poland on 1 September 1939 till it was disbanded on 13 October 1939 after the completion of the Polish campaign. The 14. Armee was re-established on 18 November 1943 for operations in the Italian Theater. It continued to fight in Italy until it’s surrender on 2 May 1945. It was in existence in the Italian theater for a total of 532 days.
