Kommandostab RFSS
| The Reichsfuhrung-SS was composed of two main parts, the KommandostabReichsfuhrung-SS and the Personlicher Stab Reichsfuhrung-SS. The KommandostabReichsfuhrung-SS was an executive administrative staff which was located at Himmler’spersonal headquarters. During the War, the Kommandostab Reichsfuhrung-SS acted on amobile basis under the title Feldkommadostelle Reichsfuhrung-SS and was organised like amilitary headquarters. As such, it acted more-or-less as the Waffen SS High Command, inthe way the Oberkommandos were the high commands for the other arms of the military. Anumber of independent combat and combat support units were attached to theFeldkommandostelle, such as signals, flak and police units. During the War, theFeldkommadostelle Reichsfuhrung-SS was organised with the following units. |
